What is Jelly and what does it do?
Jelly is a global creative studio specialising in high-craft animation, illustration, typography, live action, character design, and brand storytelling. Are you a production company or an illustration agency?
Both - and much more! Though we don’t like boxes. We think of ourselves as a creative studio because of the way we work - integrated, collaborative, strategic. We do ideas, and strategy - uncovering brand challenges and truths - as well as more traditional craft execution through animation, illustration, typography, design, and live action.
Who are Jelly's typical clients?
We work with brands, in-house creative teams, agencies, design studios and anyone who has a creative challenge that needs solving with craft, creativity and character.

Where is Jelly based and does it work internationally?
We have studios in London, New York and Barcelona - three of the world's major creative hubs - but we work across the globe. We’ve worked with clients in every continent! Whether your team is based in the US, Europe, or further afield, Jelly has the infrastructure and talent roster to deliver without the limitations of a single-market studio.
Can Jelly help us find the right director or illustrator for our campaign?
Yes. Jelly represents a curated roster of world-class artists and directors across animation, illustration, typography, live action, and character design. Whether you're briefing a brand film, a social campaign, or a full content library, Jelly matches the right creative talent to your specific brief - and manages the production process end to end. If we don’t have the right talent in house, we have an extensive network of talent in our orbit to connect you with.
Is Jelly the right fit for an in-house creative team that needs external support?
Jelly can work as an extension of in-house creative teams as much as we can with agency creative teams and directly with brand marketing departments. If your team already has a strong creative direction but needs specialist execution for character design, bespoke typography, animation, illustration or live action, we can work with your team to develop and deliver ideas.



Do your artists or illustrators specialise in certain styles?
All of our talent has a different and unique style. Some have their own style, while others can utilise multiple styles. From bold, retro and graphic or minimalist and clean to textured, Anime and photoreal - we have it all.
Can you work within my brand guidelines?
Absolutely! We spend time at the start of every project interrogating the brief and digging into the brand to make sure what we conceptualise and deliver is on brand. When it comes to design and motion, we’re used to adhering to brand guidelines.

Do your illustrators and animation directors use AI?
As a rule, we avoid AI, as we are a company that supports craft and operates to preserve the IP of our artists and directors. However, some bespoke AI may be used in the production pipeline by some of our directors, but they are happy to avoid it if requested.
How long does an animation take to produce?
Animation timelines vary. The biggest factors affecting timeline are the style and complexity of the animation, the amount of design and concept development needed upfront, the number of revision rounds, and how quickly creative decisions get made on the client side.

What does your production process look like?
Our production processes are bespoke for every brief, we cover a myriad of styles, crafts and all kinds of executions, alongside creative development, so it's always best to get in touch first and we will build a process around your idea.



I have an idea, but not a script - can I bring it to you?
We love to see ideas! We are happy to help our clients develop the broadest of concepts into final executions, we can help you at any stage of the creative process. We can work from the planning stage all the way through to final delivery.
Do you have an in-house creative team?
We have in-house creative directors, directors and producers. Our in-house team can help you to build a bespoke team of art directors, copywriters who can execute a well-crafted and considered execution.
