Leah joins 2025 D&AD New Blood jury
Our very own Leah Airey is thrilled to be joining her fellow creatives as a judge for the D&AD New Blood Awards jury.
Leah is a passionate advocate for creative access, inclusion, and empowerment. She believes in making the arts more accessible—especially for underrepresented communities—and is committed to "leaving the ladder down," particularly outside London. With a deep appreciation for diverse artistic expression, she thrives on connecting illustrators with opportunities, advocating for their best interests, and helping them refine their portfolios. This year she was invited to join D&AD’s New Blood jury.
"I’m so excited for my first year judging on the D&AD for New Bloods- and what a brief! With Morris & Co being an intuitively craft led brand, I’m very much looking forward to seeing a craft led response, hand in hand with showcasing illustration as a premium communication tool. This is such an inspiring space to see new talent - emerging illustrators/animators are who the industry looks to for energy and pluck, whether they lean into the heritage style, or translate the brand through their own design, I’ve all the faith they are going to show us something fresh and exciting!"
