Tasked with bringing to life a genuine story from one of Airbnb’s ‘superhosts’ Sophie was given a voice over and live action footage to seamlessly transition into an animated world imbued with all her synonymous character and humour.
Directing a small team, Sophie approach this project, one of her first commercial briefs after graduating, as an opportunity to develop her world-building skills in a brand setting.
Experimenting with dynamic transitions and immersive textures, Sophie crafted the animated scenes to be whimsical and joyful, reflecting her visual language through the lens of the Airbnb brand.
