Chelsea FC ‘The Boys In Blue’

The Brief
Chelsea Football Club wanted to launch a series celebrating London’s most exciting new creative talent in London ahead of each of the remaining derbies of the season, to leave their mark on and off the pitch.

Working with a host of creative talents in art, design and music to celebrate why Chelsea FC are the pride of London, what they love about football, London and creativity.

Chelsea and Copa90 had seen Alva’s personal project On Top of the World where Alva mixed photography and illustration and thought it was a great fit for their Chelsea FC campaign ‘Chelsea Creates’.

The team got in touch to see if Alva was interested to create a series of illustrations featuring the club’s key players taking over London.

The outcome
The final outcome became 3 illustrations with Chelsea players in central London, by Stamford Bridge stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as well as short interview with Alva about the process.
