In her feature with shots Magazine, Christa takes us inside the studio that shapes her tactile, character-driven CGI universe.
From art books to a clay mouth she keeps as a character design reference, it's a look at how physical "mess" and digital precision work together to build a world full of charm.

"I make textures from plasticine and clay, scan them, and use them as materials for my CGI characters. It gives the finished work a fake-handmade quality, digitally constructed, but with fingerprints and imperfections still visible."
