We set up in Hamburg, not just to be closer to our European artists who are situated everywhere from Germany to Prague, and Spain to The Netherlands, but to have a team on the ground, embedded in the market, and able to easily reach the rest of the continent by train. We've been able to enjoy some trips to Amsterdam, Berlin and Barcelona to connect with clients and artists and to dive into the creativity in these inspiring cities. It’s been a fantastic first year and we’re expecting further growth this year.

"With our studio launch in Hamburg, it got easier for everyone in the creative industry over here to work with our artists from all over the world. I’m here as the first point of contact and to support the production within the same time zone. We are officially part of the same market, work culture, and use the local currency. Jelly is a creative partner for everyone and it is exciting to be part of the local creative community. I’m looking forward to every new project to come!"

Our studio sits in the heart of the city; in the buzzing and world-famous street of ‘Lange Reihe’. We're surrounded by creative businesses, agencies, galleries and cafes - perfect for inspiring walks and those impromptu coffee meets.

As well as supporting Alva Skog at OFFF Barcelona, the team joined the creative community at Pictoplasma in Berlin last year to support Kaho Yoshida, Neil Stubbings and Drasik Studio in showcasing their work, as well as Eva Cremers, who delivered an inspiring talk during the three day festival. And we’re excited to be going back to Pictoplasma in May to meet new talent, friends, and clients.

"It has been an exciting year meeting creatives all over the city and catching up face-to-face - Hamburg is the perfect base to connect with artists and clients in Germany, and all over Europe during our many trips as well. We had the chance to work on great illustration and animation projects with amazing creative teams and I’m really fond of the good times we had working together."

SELECTED PROJECTS:

H&M x Eva Cremers

Artist: Eva Cremers

Eva was invited to collaborate with Swedish retailer H&M on a global kids collection that embraces children’s self-expression and creativity, capturing the essence of the young in today’s digital age. It includes 3D graphics and characters blurring the lines into the metaverse and gaming, with a strong connection to youth pop culture.

This project brings H&M into Eva’s joyful world and creates a Spring-ready collection that is bursting with colour and fun for kids of all ages

Nike - 5 Minutes More!

Artist: Alva Skog

Alva creates storybook magic titled '5 Minutes More' as part of Nike's ‘Sport is Never Done’ campaign.

Working with Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam, Alva illustrated a book for parents and children to read together, with the premise to encourage those parents to let their kids play '5 minutes more' of sports.

Lufthansa - World Cup 2022

Artist: Peter Phobia

Peter worked with airline Lufthansa and Germany's national football team to create an illustration with a very important message for the 2022 World Cup.

Featured on the side of the aircraft that flew the team, coaches and support staff to Oman was a lineup of characters including the athletes in Peter's recognisable style with the tagline 'Diversity Wins'.

Mini - Rooftop

Artist: Eva Cremers

Eva was approached by Mini Netherlands to create a rooftop illustration as part of a series collaborating with a range of culturally diverse artists. The rooftop designs were debuted at the 2022 Dutch Design Awards.

Eva's inspiration for this project came from her personal experience as a Mini driver, using the green wooded environment of her home to incorporate natural elements into the design like flowers and mushrooms. Eva also created several characters within the design that reference the car in some way, resulting in a design that is wonderfully complex with new elements to discover every time you look!
