Run London/Draw London
Raising money for Oxfam at this year's TCS London Marathon Dan Woodger style!
Dan Woodger is attempting his most ambitious project to date, and bringing everyone along for the ride! ‘Run London/Draw London’ is a collaborative art project that combines Dan’s training for the TCS London Marathon with his fundraising for Oxfam.
For £5 or more, you can immortalise yourself, a loved one, or any character you can dream of on the iconic marathon route around London’s landmarks in Dan’s signature style. A celebration of the spirit of the London Marathon, combined with Dan’s love for running and illustration, Run London/Draw London is a craft-led way to make a difference.

Dan’s love of vibrant character design was born from his childhood watching cartoons and has since flourished into his recognisable design style that has seen him work with global collaborators such as Vans, Samsung and McDonalds. His deep understanding of how to craft stand-out characters can be seen in his award-winning work for the Mean Tomato, see more here.
To construct the complex crowd scene, Dan is drawing on his love and experience of world-building, recently seen in his work for the interactive game Two Dots, where he crafted intricate maps filled with easter eggs and quirky characters. Check it out here.

"I've worked with Oxfam a few times over the years, and I really believe in the work they're doing. Fighting wealth inequality, tackling the climate crisis and providing aid to some of the worst-affected areas hit by conflict. Sometimes reading the news makes you want to scream and feel helpless. This is a way I can at least do something."
