Lettering by Lebassis to launch YouTube's new original series
The Brooklyn Brothers and YouTube commissioned Lebassis to create lettering wallpapers to launch their new ‘Dear Earth’ YouTube Original to coincide with COP26. ‘Dear Earth’ is “an epic global celebration of our planet and what we need to do to reverse climate change. Sprinkled with musical performances, Dear Earth will also contain well-known climate activists, creators, and celebs who will all share ways to make our lives more sustainable.”The series will feature appearances from Barack Obama, Desmond Tutu, Billie Eilish, BLACKPINK, Jaden Smith, Lil Dicky + GaTa, the Muppets and SpongeBob SquarePants, along with several YouTube creators. The show kicks off a month of new series, ideas, and actions focused on healing the planet.
Inspired by the words of the ‘Dear Earth’ talent, Lebassis created positive and motivational typographic-led ‘posters’ for social and screensavers everywhere along the theme of the #UnfckIt philosophies.
