Samsung ‘The Passion Project’

A new, mixed media identity.

Biff was asked by agency Wunderman Thompson to create a series of illustrations for their new pilot project ‘The Samsung Passion Project’, a loyalty programme for Samsung customers accessed via the Samsung members app and consisting of content and competitions around four passion points:

  • Photography
  • Wellbeing
  • Entertainment
  • Lifehacks

Samsung needed to create a new visual identity for their Samsung Passion Projects using a combination of photography overlaid with illustration.

Biff was given photos of people playing with their new Samsung Galaxy A, and was given the task of using his energetic and playful illustration style to bring the photographs to life.

The work exists in app as the visual identity for Samsung members app and online in Spain, Sweden, Poland and France.
