Crafted for Microsoft’s global ‘Reimagine Climate Action’ campaign, Alexis designed abstract landscapes where technology and nature coexist, depicting dream-like futures that capture the Microsoft sustainability goals and translate them into organic new worlds.
Brief
Accompanying Microsoft's sustainability report, Alexis’ animations brought to life four world-scapes that are both organic and digital in their style. Supporting the research that asks the questions ‘How can bees help us gather data?’ and ‘Can listening to the rainforest help save it?’ Alexis infused his designs with wonder and curiosity, a future where technology and nature exist together.
Design
Tasked with visualising complex environmental concepts through short animation clips, Alexis used a soft colour palette and his signature diffused texture to craft designs that are accessible and sensitive. Passionate about exploring the abstract and fluid in his work, this project is imbued with an organic flow that further enhances the dream-like style of the pieces.
